Shaping Functions
Trim, Weld, and Intersect
When you select two objects of the same stitch type (either fill or
satin stitches) this feature will allow you to do one of the following:

Trim (or punch out) the overlap out between the two objects
-
Weld (or combine) the two objects into one object
-
Keep only the area where the two objects overlap, deleting the area
outside of where they intersect.
