AutoDigitizing with Applique III

by Walter Floriani

Auto Digitizing with AppliqueThis month we will explore the Auto Digitizing module of Floriani Software.

Let me start by explaining that I consider auto digitizing as the act of edit digitizing, that is, the auto digitizing process converts the design at the click of a button. In almost all cases the design will need to be manipulated in the editing process to insure a successful outcome.

Let's look at the features in my auto digitizing software that enables you to accomplish this.

Sizing: The software allows you to control the actual size you desire the design to be as well as revising the size after design completion.

Color Control: You can select (at the click of a button) the colors in the design you choose to auto digitize.

Design manipulation: As you go through the conversion process you can enter the paint program and clean up your artwork when necessary. This is important as the clarity and cleanliness of your artwork has a direct impact on a successful outcome. The cleaner the artwork the better the conversion.

Stitch choices: Floriani Auto Digitizing allows you to select either auto stitch types, the traditional ones, or you may also select cross stitch and create an entire design in this unique stitch type. By converting the design in elements separately you can also mix the traditional stitch types and cross stitch by merging the elements together after they have been converted. This is a very cool feature and one I really enjoy!

Embroidery Tip

Did you note the little monitor on the bottom of the Floriani screen at the end of the color bar? That little monitor allows you to change the color of your screen to make it a chrome color!

You can use the X in the right corner to close the Properties Box and the Tree View in order to get more visual real estate!
