In the Quick Start III for Monogram Master III, you will create a simple name drop with an embellishment. By the time you have finished this lesson you should have a good working knowledge on how Monogram Master III works.
1. Go to the drop down menu File and click on NEW.

2. Click on the Hoop Icon. (FigureMM-27)

3. Select “Babylock – Brother (Pes) 100 x 100 and click on OK.

4. With your left mouse button click on the Text icon on the left. This is the first icon on the left side of your screen.

5. With the left mouse button click the mouse in the center of your hoop. An “A” will appear on your screen.


In this lesson plan we will be using the font “Arial”. If a different font appears; go to Font, change it to “Arial” and click on “Apply”.

6. In the Properties screen change “A” to “Glenn”.

7. Click on Apply.

8. Move it so it’s center in the middle of your hoop.

9. With the left mouse button click the mouse in the center of your hoop.

10. With the left mouse button click on the “T” icon (third from the top) to add an embellishment.

11. Select embellishment AN7257 (monkey), with your left mouse button.

12. Position the monkey so it looks like its hanging from the letter “G”.

13. Once this is done, go to the drop down menu FILE and click on “Save As”.

14. Save your design on your hard drive as an C2S file.

It is very important to save your design in this format just in case you wish to come back and edit something later. After it’s saved in C2S, then go back to Save As and save it in whatever format your sewing machine uses.
