In the Quick Start II for Monogram Master III, you will create a simple 3 letter Monogram using a monogramming font. By the time you have finished this lesson you should have a good
working knowledge on how Monogram Master III works.
1. Go to the drop down menu File and click on NEW.

2. Click on the Hoop Icon.

3. Select “Babylock – Brother (Pes) 100 x 100 and click on OK.

4. With your left mouse button click on the Monogram icon on the left. This is the second icon on the left side of you screen.

5. With the left mouse button click the mouse in the center of your hoop.

6. ABC will appear on your screen. Move it so it’s center in the middle of your hoop.

a. Notice that you have 3 letters “A” small, “B” large, and “C” small.
b. Your properties box, (frame) is selected to “Monogram”.
c. Your properties box, (fonts) is selected to “A”Arial. Change the font to“M”Monogram 1.

In Monogramming you have 12 “M” fonts. Notice when you choose one of these 12 fonts, the
“Décor” becomes active.
7. In the Properties screen change “ABC” to “BGP”. \

8. Click on Apply.

9. In the Properties add an embellishment by selecting one of the embellishments in “Décor”.

10. Click on Apply.

11. Reposition the “BGP” to the center of the hoop.

12. Once this is done, go to the drop down menu FILE and click on “Save As”.

13. Save your design on your hard drive as an C2S file.

It is very important to save your design in this format just in case you wish to come back
and edit something later. After it’s saved in C2S, then go back to Save As and
save it in whatever format your sewing machine uses.
