In the Quick Start for Monogram Master III, you will create a simple 3 letter Monogram using a normal font. By the time you have finished this lesson you should have a good working knowledge on how Monogram Master III works.
1. Go to the drop down menu File and click on NEW.

2. Click on the Hoop Icon.

3. Select “Babylock – Brother (Pes) 100 x 100 and click on OK.

4. With your left mouse button click on the Monogram icon on the left. This is the second icon on the left side of your screen.

5. With the left mouse button click the mouse in the center of your hoop.

6. ABC will appear on your screen.

a. Notice that you have 3 letters “A” small, “B” large, and “C” small.
b. Your properties box, (frame) is selected to “Monogram”.
c. Your properties box, (fonts) is selected to “A”Arial. (or the last font used)

You can change any normal font you own into a three letter monogram using this method.
For example: If you also own Lettering Pro III, you will have potentially 212 monogram fonts.
7. In the Properties screen change “ABC” to “C2S”

8. Click on Apply.

9. Reposition the “C2S” to the center of the hoop.

10. Click on the “M” icon to add an embellishment.

11. Select embellishment “MON17002”.

12. Reposition the embellishment with the monogram.

13. Once this is done, go to the drop down menu FILE and click on “Save As”.

14. Save your design on your hard drive as an C2S file.

It is very important to save your design in this format just in case you wish to come back and edit something later. After it’s saved in C2S, then go back to Save As and save it in whatever format your sewing machine uses.
